こんにちは、東京大学でエネルギー関連の活動を行っている学生団体(g-Enesis)に所属しております西山悠介と申します。
この度私達の学生団体から来年3月に行われるMIT Energy Conferenceに学生を派遣することになりました。
派遣に当たっては東京大学AGSから資金援助を受けまして、学内から広く参加者を募集しています。

2011年3月4、5日に、米国ボストンでMIT Energy Conference*が開催されます。
この国際会議に、東京大学エネルギークラブ（g-Enesis）から数名の学生を派遣する予定です。
今回の派遣の目的は、以下の二点になります。
（1）世界最先端のエネルギービジネス・技術動向の把握
（2）世界各国のエネルギーに興味を持つ学生との交流
会議の内容、及びそこで得られる経験等については、

なお、派遣に際しての渡航費・滞在費は、AGSが補助します。
（ただし、数万円の自己負担があります。）
*エネルギー分野における課題解決を推進するための会議で、毎年開催されています。
会議には、著名な政治家、企業、ベンチャー企業、ベンチャーキャピタル等が集まり、
将来のエネルギー利用のあるべき姿について議論をします。

○エネルギー問題に強い関心を持っていること
○派遣者間はもとより、他参加者とも積極的に交流を広げる意識があること
○2012年3月までg-Enesisの運営に携われること
（来年も東京大学に在学予定の学生を優遇します）
○日常会話に不自由しないレベルの英語コミュニケーション能力があること
○会議の全日程に参加できること
○会議当日までの事前勉強会、及び参加後の事後報告会に参加できること
○（留学生の場合）VISA取得の見通しがあること
特にg-Enesisの運営については、派遣の決定以降主要メンバーとして活動に参加して頂きます。
勉強会・各種プロジェクトの主催、ブログ・メーリングリストの管理等の業務があるため、
そのための時間を確保できる方の応募を特にお待ちしています。

The MIT Energy Conference* in Boston, U.S. will be held on March 4-5, 2011.
The University of Tokyo Energy Club (g-Enesis) will choose a few
participants to represent us at this international conference.
Delegates' objectives are:
（1）To research the frontier of energy business and technology of the world.
（2）To communicate with the student energy club of the world.

The content of the conference 2009 is reported in the document above.
Part of total travel and accommodation expenses will be supported by AGS.
(Delegates should be prepared to pay several thousands yen by themselves)
*This annual conference in the U.S that aims to present recent energy
challenges and issues. Distinguished politicians, executives
of companies, venture capitalists, etc. are gathered and discuss the
energy usage of the world for the future.

┃Requirements

○Strong interest and commitment to energy-related isssues
○Strong willingness to network with other participants as well as delegates
○To become a managing member of our energy club (g-Enesis) through March, 2012.
(Students who attend the University of Tokyo for the next year are preferred)
○English communication skill at least at daily conversation level
○Able to participate in the whole schedule of the conference
○To attend the study meetings before participating in the conference.
Also, you are supposed to make some presentation to report the conference in the debriefing sessions of g-Enesis.
○If you are the international student, you have to obtain a VISA
before the conference.
When you are chosen to participate in MIT energy conference, you are
supposed to be the committee member of g-Enesis. Committee members
have to set the study sessions, projects, submit articles to our blog,
etc in g-Enesis. Therefore, we welcome the candidates who have strong
motivation and can spare time to participate in these activities.
